ethan aguilar

About: Mr. Aguilar is a native of Southern California and spent three of his childhood years attending Carlsbad Christian Academy when it was known as Beautiful Saviour Lutheran School. He is excited to be back at the school, initially as a teacher and now principal! In his free time, Mr. Aguilar enjoys playing any sport with a ball, watching Marvel movies, and learning to surf. Mr. Aguilar strives to prepare students for a life of learning, leading, and serving faithfully wherever God leads and directs them.

Alina prost

About: Mrs. Prost was born in Russia and adopted at the age of two. She then grew up in Michigan, where she attended public school before graduating from Michigan Lutheran Seminary. After graduating college, Mrs. Prost went on to teach in a public school before moving to Wisconsin last year, where she taught in another Christian school. Outside of school, Mrs. Prost enjoys anything musical, whether it’s singing or playing piano. She loves watching college football, reading, doing puzzles, and listening to podcasts. Mrs. Prost is looking forward to the year ahead while bringing the youngest Breakers the great news of our Saviour!

Educational Background: Bachelors of Science in Education and a Masters of Arts in K-12 Reading & Literacy, both from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, MI.

Kate Aguilar

About: Mrs. Aguilar grew up in Milwaukee as the second of six children. She loves going to the beach, playing sports, hiking mountains, drinking coffee, and spending time with friends and family. Mrs. Aguilar’s mission as a teacher is to motivate, encourage and support students by providing a secure, safe and loving environment to educate them spiritually, emotionally, socially and cognitively. Her goal is for students to build a Christ-centered foundation for lifelong learning. She is excited to build relationships with students and families!

Emily Glodowski

About: Miss Glodowski grew up in western Wisconsin along the Mississippi River, where her parents owned a small dairy farm. She enjoys spending time at the beach, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and traveling with friends and family. Miss Glodowski believes that a classroom environment begins with a Christ-centered loving relationship between the teacher, students, and parents contribute to the overall success of a student. She looks forward to being a part of your child’s spiritual and academic growth at Carlsbad Christian Academy.

Madeline Bourman

About: Miss Bourman is the oldest of seven children. She lived in Texas and most recently Wisconsin where her dad has been a pastor and her mom, a teacher. She graduated high school from Luther Preparatory School and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Martin Luther College. Some things that she enjoys doing are getting outside and trying new things such as possibly surfing! In her past time she enjoys soaking in the sun, reading, and working out! She is so excited to continue her ministry here in Carlsbad!

Lindsay ramirez

About: Mrs. Lindsay Ramirez is excited to return to Carlsbad Christian Academy and Beautiful Saviour. As a proud mom of two boys, Elan and Xander, she understands the importance of a supportive, Christ-centered school environment and is passionate about helping families feel welcome and cared for. She is excited to be part of a team that’s committed to academic excellence and spiritual growth.

Educational Background: Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from North Park University and a Masters of Art in Sport Management from East Tennessee State University.

Josh Brisby

About: Mr. Brisby has been a teacher for 21 years. This is his 22nd year teaching and his 3rd year at CCA. He loves telling students about Jesus and the forgiveness God's Son won for the whole world. In Mr. Brisby's spare time, he enjoys chess, ping-pong, reading, and hanging out with his own kids.

Educational Background: Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Humanities from San Diego Christian College, Spanish and Multi-Subject Credential and Master’s in Education from National University.

Phil Sievert

About: Pastor Sievert has served as pastor at five different churches in four different states. All but one of those churches were connected to a Christian school. He is excited to be connected to CCA because of the energy of the kids, the childlike faith they display, and the joy that comes from teaching them about their Savior. Now that their four children are making lives for themselves, he and his wife Shannon enjoy hiking and walking their dogs.

MASON PROST

About: Vicar Prost grew up in Watertown, Wisconsin, and moved to Carlsbad from Milwaukee with his wife, Alina. He is serving at Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church as part of his pastoral training and will spend the year gaining ministry experience and learning under Pastor Phil Sievert. He is most excited to become part of the CCA community, build relationships with its students and families, and encourage them with God’s Word. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and piano, golfing, and fishing.

Educational Background: Bachelor of Arts from Martin Luther College, New Ulm, WI. Currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, WI.
